work in progress

Now that my sewing machine is back and fully operational (thankyou Universal John) i've begun trawling through the craft cupboard to find those projects that were shoved to the back awaiting machine sewing. And i discovered these three quilt tops made many moons ago. All hand stitched, the oldest (on the right) was probably sewn about 13 years ago, whilst i was pregnant with my second child... and Yes, i never got around to finishing them but now i'm feeling inspired to take them to the next stage. I gave them a wash and threw them on the line where i've had them in view for part of the day. It's really only a matter of finding fabric from the stash for borders and binding, and then the quilting can commence. Yes, another project to add to the list. ('cept i'm not a list person... if i write them, i just ignore it...should probably work on that) Hope everyone had a relaxing/creative/quiet/sociable/cake-eating weekend. Happy mother's day!
