One small thing......

Calling all bookworms, pseudo-librarians and purveyors of all literary stuff: Please go visit frogdancer and read Jarryd's story. His family has lost everything in the bushfire at Calignee, and specifically a much loved book collection. Lisa has compiled a list of books for Jarryd, and if you think you can help in some way please do what you can. He is studying literature and wants to be a writer....what more can i say...... I'm sending a bunch, including a lovely copy of The House at Pooh Corner, because sometimes you need to read a story titled: In Which Tigger Is Unbounced.........

A few things achieved in this recent heat wave:
1. finally packing up the christmas (I know, i know!!!) tree and tucking these two shiny folk away til next time.
2. Discovering in amongst the craft debris this little dude made by Joe when he was about 5. Amazing what you can create with 2 cotton buds, some masking tape and one of mum's fine-liners.
3. A rare find at the mission op shop, to add to our german ceramics collection. We needed more orange!
Yesterday's weather was disturbing and all the news today is so devastating. Nothing else to say.......
